We were thrilled to host Bridging the Gap: Trust, Culture and Hybrid Work in collaboration with BDO on the morning of June 27th. This event brought together industry leaders, HR professionals, and business enthusiasts for a deep dive into the critical role of trust in today’s workplace.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed speakers, Sam Seehra and Melissa Bruno from BDO. Their expert perspectives on trust, organisational culture, and hybrid work dynamics provided invaluable insights and sparked thought-provoking discussions.

Melissa
Melissa Bruno – Partner People Advisory Services at BDO

Melissa Bruno, a lead Partner within BDO’s People Advisory Services team, has over 20 plus years’ experience in People, Talent and HR Strategy.  Melissa is passionate about designing effective organisations, developing leaders, people and teams, assessing people risk and transforming functions.  Melissa starts from advising on what is impacting businesses today and anticipating what will in the future enabling organisations to focus on what matters and to prepare effectively. 

Melissa, championed people data analytics and measurement early making sure that what she delivers with clients is always measurable and truly value add.  Melissa has worked in senior leadership positions in both consulting and the private sector; her focus is always on enhancing the people agenda to bolster performance and strategic business delivery.  Melissa sees HR as pivotal to driving business success, a custodian of the employee experience and the real engine enabling people to perform.

Sam Seehra – Director, People Advisory Services at BDO

Sam Seehra, an experienced Director within BDO’s People Advisory Services team, brings over 16 years of expertise in the People & Talent arena. His leadership in BDO’s Talent Solutions business is marked by a comprehensive approach to Talent Acquisition & Management, Workforce Skills, Culture and Employee Experience. During his time at BDO, Sam has been instrumental in driving organisational culture projects and enhancing employee engagement through innovative EVP strategies. He is a passionate Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) advocate; in his previous role Sam was the subject matter expert (SME) for a scalable Inclusive Leader proposition and he is currently a mentor for members of BDO’s CEDAR (celebrating ethnic diversity and roots) community.
