Supporting Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship with Seeded Paper
Our seeded paper postcards are more than just eco-friendly—they’re packed with pollinator-friendly seeds that help support wildlife and promote biodiversity across the UK. When you plant your seed paper, you’re not just recycling—you’re actively contributing to a more sustainable environment.
To grow your seed paper into beautiful, pollinator-attracting plants and contribute to a greener more sustainable planet, just follow these easy steps
How to plant your seeded paper
- Tear the Seed Paper: Rip your seed paper postcard into small pieces to help the seeds disperse evenly.
- Soak in Water: Give the paper a quick soak in water to loosen the fibres and prepare the seeds for planting.
- Plant in Soil: Place the soaked pieces under about ¼ inch of soil. For best results, plant in March for the current season or September for a Spring bloom.
- Water Regularly: Water at least once a day to keep the soil moist. It’s important to make sure the paper stays saturated.
- Watch it Grow: Within 10-14 days, you should start to see small sprouts emerging!
By following these steps, you’ll soon have a thriving patch of plants that attract pollinators and help sustain wildlife.
Why seeded paper?
Our commitment to sustainable recruitment practices extends beyond just how we work—it also guides how we interact with the environment. As a certified B Corp and a women-owned recruitment company, we strive to practice environmental stewardship by minimising our impact on the planet. That’s why we’ve chosen to limit the use of printed promotional materials and have opted for 100% biodegradable and recycled materials where possible. Our seed paper postcards are a perfect example of how businesses can combine eco-conscious efforts with meaningful actions.
At Career Moves, we believe that sustainability isn’t just a practice—it’s a responsibility we all share. Together, we can make a positive impact on both our industry and the planet.
Thank you for joining us on this journey towards a greener, sustainable future.
