Role Overview
You apply analytical frameworks and advanced data modelling to generate insights for business recommendations and evaluate various client business fundamentals to help accelerate client’s growth and transformation. You will lead at least one client and/or partner engagement independently by building deep relationships and networks. You will identify methodologies client partners on marketing and media analytics, measurement, and attribution to help them navigate industry standards and alternatives. You will develop customized sector analysis and opportunity forecasts to present them to the sales teams in advance of client-facing meetings.
Drive outcomes for a client/partner, industry, subject area and/or partner project as a key contributor, with minimal assistance. Identify scalable solutions for client business and marketing challenges in collaboration with the sales team. Identify scalable strategies to increase monetization and drive industry-level revenue through query and auction analysis. Analyze large and complex data sets through advanced data modelling, validate insights from the analysis, and translate data-driven insights into business recommendations.
Identify and recommend creative ways to improve on solutions to defined business problems via problem-solving methodologies, and selection of better methods and tools. Address commonly escalated issues or triage when required.
Work within one or more teams to communicate knowledge related to a broad set of tasks. Identify key stakeholders to build a network and contribute to cross-team collaboration. Communicate content and outcomes of complex analyses in a simple, understandable way to different audiences, through written or oral forms.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with new and existing clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market sales pitch and marketing collateral.
Participate in discussions with industry heads and sales leadership to develop high-level sales strategy and plans.
Act as a consultant to work with client/partner leadership and stakeholders to develop joint business plans (JBPs), review JBPs and provide input from analytical or measurement and practical perspectives to improve the JBPs or add agreement/services.
Contribute to or lead the development of joint measurement plans for clients/partners.
Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply and/or customize analytical tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of Google products.
Collaborate with account executives or account managers to build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/analytical stakeholders on the clients/partners side.
Provide support and consulting on clients/partners strategy in the areas of sales, marketing and/or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions and/or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
Support clients/partners in the design, implementation, and maintenance of measurement solutions, help clients/partners develop and conduct measurement-focused studies/experiments, and use measurement tools to add relevant data to clients/partners??? core strategic planning processes (e.g., annual planning, global business updates).
Create forward-thinking and data-driven POVs, narratives, and sales pitches to support client/partner business (e.g., marketing events) or help clients/partners understand and reach their consumers using industry, marketing and/or third-party research.
Demonstrate the business value of Google products (analytics, conversions, and attribution) to client/partner stakeholders to drive the adoption of Google products while providing consultation (and occasionally upsells) on measurement and attribution products.
Help clients/partners integrate first-party data with Google products and platforms to improve immediate performance, and act as the point person for integration of Google data into client measurement solutions.
Assist AE in uncovering customer objectives and challenge pods/clients to think bigger, create opportunity analysis and/or measurement plan to drive customer objectives, own connecting Media Obj., Marketing Obj., and CBO.
Focus on building relationships with customers in Analytics, Tech, and/or Data functions.
Conduct market/consumer analysis/reports for customers
In-depth auction/industry analysis, test results, custom reporting (tied to an ask), market share-based opportunity sizing, and analysis that can be scaled.
Review internal and external data sources and leverage SDM org for external or consumer data while analyzing and building an understanding of client/partner business and stakeholders, helping clients/partners understand how Google products can improve performance and efficiency.
Identify products/solutions related to measurement, attribution, experimentation, and ads privacy and partner with other specialist teams for additional products. Use analytical insights to align Google products and offerings with clients/partners, marketing objectives, leveraging and collaborating with product specialist teams.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to interact confidently with senior leaders of the organization in order to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program or solution. This includes the ability to confidently address difficult questions, handle push back from a high-level audience, and maintain an executive demeanor while engaging in difficult or sometimes high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of the principles and best practices of designing experiments to address issues or evaluate impact. This includes knowledge of design parameters, sampling strategies, data collection, and analytical techniques.
Ability to gain commitment to a product, service or idea from partners, customers, and/or stakeholders using data and appropriate communication or storytelling methods. This includes the ability to convince customers to increase their budget through analytical and measurement techniques.
Understanding of the overall big-picture of the business model, importance and interdependence of various functions within an organization, and drivers of profitability.
Ability to quickly learn the general concepts and principles in a technical (e.g., engineering, finance) domain, clearly explain familiar technologies, solve or analyze technical issues or provide useful technical insights, and demonstrate interest and curiosity in acquiring knowledge across technical domains.
Ability to combine technical and financial data to differentiate and position the value of Google products, services, and solutions to create competitive advantage.
Ability to understand customer business objectives through dialogue before recommending products/services. Ability to influence and inspire an audience by crafting POVs using data that elicit empathy or create buy-in and partner with, orchestrate, lead, and influence clients, partners, and/or service providers as a trusted advisor. This may include managing client/partner expectations. Ability to convert general data and findings into applied, specific information and suggestions that add value to business planning and strategies
