Strengthening leadership, community and long-term impact
“For Career Moves, progress isn’t just about growth — it’s about growing with purpose. This year has been about strengthening partnerships, investing in leadership, and staying true to the values that shape how we work every day.” Founder & CEO, Caroline Foote
At Career Moves, the last twelve months have been busy, challenging and genuinely rewarding in equal measure. We’ve had the privilege of working with organisations navigating change, supporting professionals at pivotal moments in their careers, and continuing to build a business that puts people and purpose at the centre of every decision
As 2025 comes to a close, it feels like a good moment to pause — not just to look back at what we’ve achieved, but to recognise the people and partnerships that made it possible.
Strengthening Our B Corp Commitment
This year, we continued to build on our commitment as a B Corp certified business, embedding purpose-led thinking even more deeply into how we operate.
We were proud to partner with an increasing number of B Corp organisations, aligning with businesses that share our values around sustainability, responsible growth, and positive social impact. We also marked an important milestone by moving into a new B Corp–aligned office space, reinforcing our belief that where and how we work should reflect the standards we hold ourselves to.
At Career Moves our B Corp status isn’t a badge — it’s a framework that continues to guide our decisions, partnerships, and priorities.

Championing Leadership Through Community and Events
Community and connection remained central to our work this year. Our Women in Power event series continued to grow, creating space to celebrate and amplify the voices of women leading change across industries. This year also marked an exciting first for the series, with the introduction of our first evening drinks event, broadening the format and bringing new voices into the conversation.
Alongside this, our HR events and article series continued to support meaningful dialogue across the people and talent community — providing forums to share insight, challenge thinking, and navigate an increasingly complex HR and hiring landscape.

Advancing Thought Leadership
Throughout the year, we placed a strong emphasis on thought leadership, sharing practical, research-led insights across people, talent, and leadership hiring.
Key areas of focus included:
- The evolving nature of the modern workforce, including permanent and contingent models
- The role of strategic hiring in finance and leadership functions
- The intersection of HR and AI, explored through dedicated research papers and events
- Articles designed to bring clarity to complex hiring and workforce topics
Our Career Moves People & Talent survey and our HR & AI research has reflected what we see daily in the market: that turning ambition into impact is as much about people, capability and governance as it is about technology.
Investing in Executive Search Capability
This year also saw us strengthen the Career Moves Executive Search division with the appointment of Fiona Rooney, further enhancing our ability to support senior and leadership-level hiring.
Fiona partners with high-growth, regulated and founder-led businesses across technology and financial services, helping organisations build people functions that scale with purpose, compliance and culture. She specialises in recruiting Chief People Officers (CPOs), Talent Directors, and Reward, Compensation & Benefits leaders, supporting businesses at critical stages of growth and change.
With experience across permanent and interim search, as well as market mapping and benchmarking throughout the UK and Europe, Fiona brings a consultative, insight-led approach and strong sector fluency — making her a trusted partner for complex and strategic hiring decisions.
As organisations navigate more selective markets and higher expectations around leadership impact, this investment reflects our continued commitment to delivering thoughtful, partnership-led executive search solutions.
Supporting the Next Generation Through Mentorship
This year, we were proud to host interns from London schools as part of our mentorship initiatives, offering young people exposure to the world of work, guidance from experienced professionals, and the confidence that comes from being supported and encouraged early in their careers.
These experiences reinforce our belief that access, opportunity and representation matter — and that businesses have a role to play beyond their immediate commercial goals.

Looking forward
None of what we have achieved in 2025 would be possible without the trust of our clients, the ambition of the professionals we support, and the dedication of our team. To our clients, candidates, partners and wider community — thank you for your trust, collaboration and support.
As we look ahead to 2026, the focus for Career Moves remains clear: purpose-led recruitment and advisory, strong long-term partnerships, thoughtful leadership hiring, and continued investment in community, research and early talent.
We’re excited about what’s to come and grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey this year. We look forward to continuing to work together in the year ahead.
To prepare for the year ahead and enjoy a well-earned pause, our team will be taking a short break. Our office will close at 12pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on 2nd January, with emails continuing to be monitored during this time.
From all of us at Career Moves Group, we wish you a joyful festive season and a successful start to the New Year!
