Navigating the C-suite, parenthood and the menopause with Jodi Cartwright
At our September Women In Power event, Jodi Cartwright, CCO of Tint Financial Services, explored the multifaceted challenges of navigating womanhood and work. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this insightful discussion focusing on the profound impacts of menopause and the complexities of balancing a career and family life.
The event began with a special introduction by Melissa Bruno, People Advisory Partner at BDO. Melissa will delved into eye-opening data on the challenges women face throughout their careers, offering key insights and context that deepened our discussion.
It was an inspiring conversation full of powerful takeaways and candid discussions on the unique challenges women face in leadership, parenthood, and navigating menopause. We’re grateful to all the C-suite female leaders who shared their experiences and made this event a success!

Why this conversation matters?
A late 2023 survey by SimplyHealth found that 23% of working women aged 40 to 60 considered resigning due to menopause, and 14% are planning to hand in their notice. This period often coincides with the apex of their careers, where their experience and institutional knowledge are invaluable to their employers.
For many women, this significant era of womanhood falls hot on the heels of balancing the challenges of motherhood with their career.
To successfully navigate these significant life stages, we need to engage in open conversations, educate ourselves, and empower each other. We face a choice: remain silent and fade into the background, or embrace these changes, adapt to our evolving needs, and actively shape our futures.
