The Opportunity

A leading global entertainment and streaming organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Ads Operations Demand Management Specialist to join its global Advertising Operations team.

The Demand Management team ensures that direct and programmatic advertising campaigns are ready to launch, activated correctly and delivering against client objectives. You will own the day-to-day operational performance of campaigns for specific UK agencies within an assigned pod.

This is a hands-on campaign management position requiring strong technical troubleshooting skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to act quickly while managing multiple live campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day operational management of advertising campaigns within an assigned UK agency pod.
  • Oversee campaign readiness and launch, ensuring campaigns are correctly activated and delivering as expected.
  • Manage campaigns across Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed and Private Marketplace deal types.
  • Use multiple dashboards, advertising systems and reporting tools to monitor campaign readiness, pacing, delivery and overall health.
  • Identify why campaigns are not ready, have failed to launch or are underdelivering.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving bids, impressions, campaign pacing, targeting, trafficking and reporting.
  • Investigate bid and impression discrepancies, determine root causes and take action to restore delivery.
  • Identify campaign risks and optimisation opportunities, resolving issues directly or escalating complex technical problems to Ads Operations Solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers throughout the campaign lifecycle; this partnership is central to the role.
  • Work with Sales, Ads Operations Solutions and external vendors to ensure campaigns deliver against client objectives.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on campaign readiness, delivery risks, performance and required actions.
  • Analyse campaign data at UK market level and provide actionable insights to support revenue growth and operational improvements.
  • Coordinate vendor tasks relating to campaign setup, quality control and reporting.
  • Monitor task queues and support workload balancing across the wider Advertising Operations team.
  • Gather feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to identify workflow and process improvements.
  • Maintain operational documentation, best-practice guidance and training materials.
  • Support the adoption and rollout of new tools, automation and operating processes.
  • Remain informed about industry developments, internal process updates and emerging advertising technologies.

Essential Experience

  • A minimum of five years’ experience, ideally five to six years or more, specifically within ad technology.
  • Significant hands-on experience in advertising campaign management, demand management or advertising operations.
  • Strong end-to-end campaign lifecycle experience, including trafficking, quality control, readiness, launch, monitoring, pacing, optimisation and troubleshooting.
  • Proven technical troubleshooting experience across direct and programmatic advertising campaigns.
  • Experience diagnosing issues involving bids, impressions, campaign delivery, pacing, targeting and reporting.
  • Experience with Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed and Private Marketplace deal types.
  • Proficiency with advertising systems and tools, including CRM, OMS, DSPs, ad servers, task-management systems and reporting platforms.
  • Confidence working across multiple dashboards and managing several live campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn campaign data into practical business insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or risks quickly.
  • Ability to act at pace, prioritise effectively and remain accurate within a dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills, particularly when working with Account Management, Sales and technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working within a major ad-supported streaming, digital media, social media or technology platform.
  • Agency-side advertising operations or campaign management experience.
  • Experience working with external vendors and overseeing campaign setup, quality control or reporting tasks.
  • Experience supporting advertising campaigns for the UK market.

About You You are a technically capable and highly detail-oriented advertising operations specialist. You take ownership of campaign delivery, quickly recognise when something is not working and confidently investigate the cause. You can balance multiple campaigns, act quickly under pressure and build strong working relationships with Account Managers, Sales teams, vendors and technical specialists.
