Content Designer (Contract – Maternity Leave Cover) – ICONIC GLOBAL TECH BRAND
£44.71 PAYE Hourly Rate, 9AM – 6PM working hours

Location
Remote – United Kingdom Occasional office visits may be required.

About the Role
🚀 Join a fast-moving, highly visible product organisation working on innovative Ads experiences.
We’re looking for an experienced Content Designer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis to provide maternity leave cover. You’ll work as an embedded content design partner within a cross-functional product team, collaborating closely with product managers, product designers, engineers, data scientists, and UX researchers.
This opportunity sits within the Ads organisation, specifically supporting the Catalog team. The team works on products that help advertisers add products into catalogues and create ads across web surfaces and notifications.

What You’ll Do
✨ In this role, you will:

  • Craft clear, user-centred content across product surfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and deliver end-to-end product experiences
  • Contribute to content standards and ensure consistency across product areas
  • Participate in design reviews and provide content expertise to the wider team
  • Maintain and evolve documentation and content guidelines
  • Use AI tools to support and accelerate content workflows
  • Partner closely with design, research, product, and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions

What We’re Looking For
🔎 We’re looking for someone who combines strong content design craft with collaboration, adaptability, and product thinking.
Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in UX writing and content design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to craft clear, compelling in-product language
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working within cross-functional product teams
  • Ability to manage work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI tools in content workflows
  • Experience working on e-commerce or ads-related products
  • Familiarity with Figma
  • Design-related degree or relevant content design qualifications are a plus, but not required
