How to plant your seeded paper
- Tear the Seed Paper: Rip your seed paper postcard into small pieces to help the seeds disperse evenly.
- Soak in Water: Give the paper a quick soak in water to loosen the fibres and prepare the seeds for planting.
- Plant in Soil: Place the soaked pieces under about ¼ inch of soil. For best results, plant in March for the current season or September for a Spring bloom.
- Water Regularly: Water at least once a day to keep the soil moist. It’s important to make sure the paper stays saturated.
- Watch it Grow: Within 10-14 days, you should start to see small sprouts emerging!
By following these steps, you’ll soon have a thriving patch of plants that attract pollinators and help sustain wildlife.
