Events Manager
Location: London
Length: tbc
Rate: £300 – £350 per day (Inside IR35)
Hours: 9am-6pm
This client is a top 5 tech giant with a global retail operation, video streaming platform, and has a big imprint in Web Services.
This is a hybrid role, so you will split your time between home office and the clients offices in central London. On-site you will be able to access their amazing facilities and quirky working spaces.
As an event manager, you’ll need to:
- Liaise with internal training team and subject matter experts to coordinate all of the learning content and event agenda
- Manage and coordinate suppliers and contractors on a range of key topics (eg. venue, catering, travel, etc)
- Produce detailed documentation and communication around the events (including timelines, stakeholder updates, progress and financial updates)
- Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs
- Act as the point of contact for queries from the team and leadership regarding the planned event.
- Liaise with on the group team(s) to ensure a smooth running of the event and following clear up.
- Make sure that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
- Produce post-event evaluation document(s) to inform future events
- Manage budget and cost tracking
- Perform other tasks in line with the preparation and delivery of a professional, engaging event.
Required Experience:
- + 4 years’ experience in Event Management and strong project management skills
- Proficiency in English C1

Preferred qualifications and skills:
- +2 years of Program Management experience
- Negotiation skills when looking for the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors
