Hours: 9am – 6pm
This client is a multinational alcoholic beverages company, and one of the largest and most prominent spirits and beer producers globally. With a plethora of well-known and recognisable alcohol brands to their name, this client are a leader in the global FMCG space.
Job Description
- Lead and advocate good governance to ensure that all health, safety and environment targets are met by driving site compliance with all legislation, internal policies & Company Standards.
- Drive the governance compliance agenda across their group to ensure improved site performance against governance KPIs and delivery of site strategy goal of 100% compliance.
- To ensure zero additional costs to site through non-compliance, and (in line with our client’s code of conduct) to source the most financially viable option when identifying suppliers of materials.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of specific contractor activities on site Inc. Supplier tendering, undertaking contractor inductions and feedback processes, documentation management & scheduling of works. Support with assessing suitability of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Challenging where submitted RAMS do not met our client’s standards.
- Using bespoke systems including SAP, Entropy, OneLook, EQMS & Enablon to record data and source necessary information.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for co-ordinating adherence to site compliance including:
- Entropy/ Enablon action Management for all Actions on Entropy, OneLook & Enablon including MOC, SIRC & Audit Actions
- EQMS review – inc update and administration of Site Owned Documents
- Global Governance data compliance and support SOM compliance tasks
- Support development of site CARM Design Assessments & lead site CARM testing
- SIRC ownership including planning and management of closure
- Site knowledge management and responsibility for co-ordinating and updating site governance documentation (e.g. site drawings, safety reports, registers & plans etc)
- Own and update Legionella Management Folder
- Auditee for internal and external audits (e.g. FEMAS, ISO, GRMS Tier 1)
- Organise and chair the quarterly risk forum
- Understand and facilitate the Management of Change process and provide support as required.
- Support Planned Governance Site Visits – e.g. Willis; CARM, Occ Hygiene Surveys, ISO; FEMAS (as applicable)
Responsible for Contractor Co-ordination including:
- Supplier Tendering and documentation management
- Contractor Inductions & Contractor Feedback Management
- SAP Maintenance and Compliance Management
- Scheduling of 3rd party recurring contract work
- RAMS review and permit preparation
Experience/Skills:
- Experience of working in a team and meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the use of standard business (MS Office), our client’s packages (SAP, EQMS, Entropy, Enablon, Discoverer, Quip) and third-party portals as required
- Must possess full, clean UK driver’s license
- Good knowledge of H&S requirements for production areas
- Good knowledge and understanding of Diageo Governance Policies, Protocols & Procedures

- Ability to build/maintain strong relationships with the site management team and key stakeholders
Excellence in Supply Chain
- Attend and drive engagement for the implementation of the MMS journey and MMS practices in the areas of Performance, Standards, Capabilities and Asset care.
- Attend and contribute in the T1/T2, ITF and team meeting. Ensure adherence to code of conduct and active and timely management of actions.
- Effectively articulate and engage all employees in the vision for the site and the organisation
- Proactively leverage the learning curriculums and materials on our client’s academy and other sources to continuously grow and develop in role.
- Ability to challenge others to achieve desired outcome for the site
Education
- Completed an externally recognised qualification in business administration, or equivalent
- IOSH Managing Safely (or willing to complete)
