Job Description

Career Moves is an established recruitment consultancy based in Farringdon, London. With four specialist teams we recruit permanent, temporary and contract professionals across broadcast, HR, PR, marketing, digital, administrative and office support roles.

We're now looking for an Operations Finance Manager to join our wonderful team!

This an exciting opportunity to utilise your accountancy and commercial skills to manage the finance function ensuring the team deliver a first-class service to both internal and external stakeholders.

In your role as the Operational Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the Finance team, overseeing all financial activity of the company and managing key external relationships with the banking, factoring company, outsourced payroll company & external accountants.

An excellent leader, you will thrive on getting the best from your team and will utilise that passion to lead, develop & mentor the finance team consisting of an Assistant Management Accountant and Credit Controller.

You will business partner to the Managing Director & Heads of Divisions reporting financial & non-financial information in a timely manner whilst ensuring that this information becomes central in all decision making.

EXPERIENCE

•           Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

•           Sage 50 experience and knowledge preferred.

•           Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written.

•           Confident and professional in all dealings with clients, candidates and colleagues.

•           Able to multi task and manage many areas of responsibility.

•           To be self-managing and self-motivated.

•           Strong people management skills and ability to delegate & motivate others effectively.

•           Good negotiation skills
