Interim Roles in the wake of Brexit

It has now been just over 100 days since the June 24th decision to leave the European Union and the discussion continues about what happens next.
For many of us and certainly at Career Moves it is business as usual. Career Moves has a strong and stable business plan, one which has included employing someone to focus on interim roles.
Dan Corbett joins us from a competitor and we are excited about the experience and wealth of knowledge he brings. As there is no blueprint for an EU Exit interim roles are becoming a popular and viable option for various organizations and Dan is taking the lead on this.
An interim role is a win-win for both clients and candidates. Clients can employ someone to fill a role while they continue to look at where the business is going. Interim staff and personnel on Fixed Term contracts, are great for many reasons; they come with an excess of experience, hit the ground running on projects to ensure they get the most out of their time and can bring a fresh breathe of air to a company that might be feeling stuck.
Britain now has a new Prime Minister, Theresa May, who has set a timeline to invoke Article 50 in the coming months and from there it will take at least 2years for Brexit to occur.
While many managers are still reviewing budgets and strategies about hiring permanent staff, there is a demand to hire interim staff until these plans can be put in place. So again, there are many opportunities arising from the decision to leave the EU and at Career Moves, Dan has the experience to make this happen for both his clients and candidates.
Career Moves are excited about the opportunity that Brexit will bring and we look forward to working with our clients and candidates on their needs and requirements. To this end we have strengthened our Contingent Workers offering and now have dedicated interim recruitment support across all our teams; Human Resources, Office Support, PR/ Digital/ Marketing.
