As December rolls around, the Career Moves team have been ramping up their community work with lots of great volunteer work with Barts Charity. We are also thrilled to announce that we have reached our fundraising goal of raising £2,000 for them this year.
Last week some of the Career Moves team headed to The Royal London Hospital to decorate the wards for the elderly patients. We split into two teams as we were on limited time and managed to get several tree’s decorated and tinsel and Christmas decorations hung around the wards.
Then on Sunday some of the team met bright and early at Victoria Park to participate in the Santa Run. We donned our Santa suits and ran 5km around the park with everyone making great times and even some PB’s thrown in.
This week the team will be coming together to make Christmas cards for the patients spending Christmas in hospital as well as dropping off gifts that we have been bringing in.
It has been wonderful to support Bart’s charity, which was nominated by our Head of Office Support, Sarah Savage this year and we look forward to announcing our new charity for 2017 shortly.
Big thanks to the Career Moves team and everyone else that has supported us this year, we really do apprecaite it!
