Career Moves has donated more than 100 Easter eggs and gifts for patients at hospitals across London as part of Barts Charity’s annual Egbert's Eggs-traordinary Challenge appeal.
Supporting the appeal kicks off the company's support of Barts Charity, which was nominated and selected as Career Moves' charity of the year for 2016. A variety of fundraising events are planned throughout the year including sponsored runs, charity bake-offs and quiz nights.
The chocolate treats and craft items have been donated by staff, clients and members of the public who are keen to support the cause.
Sarah Savage, Head of Career Moves Office Support, who nominated Barts Charity said, "Barts Charity is such a fantastic charity and Egbert's Eggs-traordinary Challenge is a great way to make Easter a bit more special for patients across the paediatric and elderly wards.
"Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our collection and helped brighten the day of these patients."
Ellie Francis, Community Fundraiser at Barts Charity said, "We’re so grateful to Career Moves for their support of our Easter appeal. Giving Easter eggs to patients in hospital is a simple but amazing way to put a smile on people’s faces and make the holidays a little easier for the children and elderly patients that our appeal helps."
Staff at Career Moves will be running the Hackney Half Marathon in aid of Barts Charity this May. Donations can be made at the Career Moves Just Giving page.
