London (work from home temporarily due to covid)

Fast-growing disruptors like Spotify, Booking.com and Farfetch. Companies in heavily regulated industries like AstraZeneca, GSK and National Australia Bank. Not to mention thousands of small and medium-sized businesses around the world.

The Marketing team helps fuel this growth by building the brand and educating businesses about the power of connected companies. Ultimately, our role is to create the demand that translates into sales opportunities. The website is one of the most visible channels we have to create demand and build our brand. Not only is it our most important source of new leads to grow the business, it’s where millions of people get to know who we are and what we stand for.
We’re looking for a Website Content Lead to turn the platfrom into an industry-leading online destination. You will be responsible for developing a content strategy that helps us meet our brand and demand goals while ensuring that each and every website visitor can easily access the information that’s most relevant to them.
These visitors will include key decision makers from the large enterprises we already serve today. But increasingly they will also include millions of self-serve customers in small and medium-sized businesses for whom the website will be their only interaction with our product.

Not only will you be comfortable delivering a strategy to engage both these audiences, you’ll also be able to roll your sleeves up and create content - from SEO-friendly web pages to customer stories, blogs, audience specific collateral and more.
We are looking for a candidate with razor-sharp copywriting skills and a strong track record of B2B content strategy work for SMB and enterprise audiences. The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with senior stakeholders is a must. Experience mentoring other or team members will be an advantage.
You will be inventive and tenacious. Imaginative and effective. You will be comfortable working at pace and juggling multiple projects across different channels (and time zones). You will have a fanatical attention to detail and will be enthusiastic about collaborating with different teams. Above all, you will have a sincere desire to create the best website in the SaaS business.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with the Digital team to deliver the content strategy that fuels a world-class website, this includes content strategy for both enterprise and SMB customers, as well as technology and integration Partners
  • Work with Comms to create a content home and strategy for Press and Media
  • Optimizing content to hone the perfect user journey that results in higher lead conversion rates
  • Own hands-on copy execution across a variety of formats from landing pages to case studies and ebooks
  • Develop the blog into an industry must-read
  • Build and manage relationships with external agencies (including content, strategy and engineering) to ensure globally scaled impact
  • Understand and articulate the brand across the site

Requirements
  • 10 years experience delivering B2B digital content strategy
  • Deep knowledge of web content best practices, including SEO and user journeys
  • Ability to turn web analytics into actionable content strategies
  • Ability to translate complicated messages into compelling copy
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
  • Creative and self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and juggle multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of HTML or WordPress
