UX ResearcherLocation: London
Length: 12 months
Rate: £48/52 p/h
Hours: 9am-6pm
As a UX researcher, you’ll have the opportunity to partner directly with a single, tightly integrated pod with significant freedom to operate with the time, people, and space necessary for conceiving, building and launching brand new products. Research is paramount to this organization’s success - formative research is needed to identify the right latent needs or problems in the world to tackle with product solutions, iterative design research is needed to mold early product ideas into testable prototypes, and creative evaluative research is needed to improve and prepare those products for market.
Job Responsibilities:
• Drive end-to-end research projects, from scoping to analysis
• Perform usability research, diary studies, and focus group studies on our clients' Support and Integrity topics
• Work collaboratively with data science, engineering and UX Research team to define research goals, methodologies and reporting requirements
• Manage projects and work closely with recruiters, translators, and other vendors involved, to ensure the quality of the research
• Execute and moderate interviews and/or focus groups in the participant’s local language
• Conduct regular debriefings with stakeholders
• Synthesize and produce reports/key summary with meaningful recommendations and actionable results
Skills:
• Ability to partner well with design and engineering teams to design end-to-end research which informs actionable product decisions.
• Work flexibly and efficiently; you will be working on 1-2 projects at the same time and therefore crucial to manage time effectively
• Clear and active communication with our clients' Research team and cross-functional partners; especially now that many of us work remotely
• Storytelling skills: ability to uncover what matters and put together a presentation of findings in a compelling and impactful way
Minimum qualifications:
• 5+ years of UX research experience
• Fluent in some of the following languages: Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, or other major Indic language with strong written capacities
• Willing to travel to Mexico, South America, and/or India for work
• Available to fully commit with our team for the next 6 months
• Target level - L4-L5
• BA/BS in a human behaviour related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
Preferred qualifications
• MA/MS/MPhil or PhD in a human behaviour related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
• Experience running research in rural areas and among low digital literacy users
