Technical SupportLocation: Menstrie, Scotland
Length: 11 months
Rate: £10-11 p/h
Hours: 9am – 6pm
Duties:
The role holder is responsible for the analysis of spirit and production samples in order collect flavour chemistry data that will be used for further research in the areas of process control and liquid innovation. This will require the use of a number of analytical techniques along with method development and validation as required.
Skills:
Previous work in the spirits/drinks industry and analytical chemistry is highly desirable. Candidate should be organised, data driven and have proven skills in communication, including presenting technical data. The ability to follow and write Standard Operating Procedures will be key to this role as will working to our client's standard health and safety practices.
Education:
University degree in scientific field. Experience preferred but not essential. Strong analytical, development and problem-solving skills. Ability to present complex technical issues in an understandable way for wider audience.
