Our client is a well established news and media company who are looking to add a Talent & Performance Business Partner to their team.In this role you'll be reporting to the Head of Talent & Performance where you'll be responsible for the end-to-end talent management approach and processes. In order to achieve this you'll need to identify critical talent, creating and managing talent pools and succession plans, and ensuring that the critical talent is provided with outstanding career development and learning experience. As the Talent & Performance Business Partner you'll be working across a range of roles from journalists to marketers, analysts, designers, engineers, and much more.
Key responsibilities
- Align the talent management approach to the organisational strategy and goals
- Review and optimise the talent management processes
- Identify critical talent segments and create talent pools to ensure these are resourced effectively.
- Set up an executive-led talent council to review the health of talent pools and pipelines
- Coach critical talent 1:1 to plan and manage their career development and learning effectively.
- Partner with peer centres of excellence including Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Acquisition
- Partner with HR generalists on scoping, designing, and delivering organisational development solutions
To thrive in this role as the Talent & Performance Business Partner you will need to be able to think about talent management strategically, to partner with, and influence, senior stakeholders and have experience of coaching senior, high-potential talent.
