Rate: £42-46 p/h
Hours: 9am-6pm
Our client is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to develop and manage Commerce partnerships among some of the largest clients in EMEA. This role will support the product team’s efforts to connect people with products they’ll love through seamless, personalised shopping experiences across our client.
This person will act as the link between the needs of our partners and the capabilities of our products. Specifically, this person will pitch, onboard, and drive value for our clients/sellers using our commerce tools and solutions. You will be the voice of commerce to partners and deliver white glove service. You will also be responsible for surfacing the needs of these partners to product and cross-functional teams, ensuring partner feedback is insightful and actionable.
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven person with experience on partnerships or sales teams. You will be part of a high-performing global team that develops and manages external partnerships across industries and our client. This team also works cross-functionally with support, operations, product marketing, product, and legal teams to develop new capabilities, improve user experience and help people discover and buy what they want.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with Commerce partners, including developing new relationships, setting expectations during early stage testing, and supporting partner growth
- Work cross functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to enable partners to utilize our clients' Commerce products and advocate for functionality to grow partner businesses
- Regularly report updated status of partner discussions and keep cross functional partners informed of progress
- Develop deep product expertise with an ability to collect and synthesise meaningful feedback and translate it into high-quality insights to inform product roadmaps across a variety of product teams
- Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience working in a partnerships or business development role
- BA/BS Degree
- Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders communication as well as formal and informal meeting and presentation settings
- Rapid learner who thrives in 0-to-1 product development
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Commerce or Retail
- Understanding of product development lifecycle and experience working with early stage products
- Able to quickly develop an understanding of new systems and platforms
