Senior Account Manager – Sports/Entertainment
Permanent/ London

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager, with solid integrated experience to join their team.    To work across various clients and their portfolios, to be the day-to-day lead and expert in delivery of creative campaigns and activation projects across music, creative design, art and fitness, spanning experiential and content, amongst other channels.   From day one, you’ll be tasked with building and maintaining multiple client relationships, so experience of complex stakeholder management is required.   Alongside this, you’ll work closely with the Strategy and Creative teams, so you’ll need to possess a strong understanding and appreciation of creative and planning processes and output.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Day to day account management across various clients, building solid, unshakeable relationships – gaining their respect at all levels and demonstrating a strong understanding of their business
  • Leading collaboration across multiple agency departments (project management, strategy, creative, production) to solve client challenges
  • Liaising with clients to receive briefs, and interpret these into practical briefs for the agency
  • Always having a ‘can do’ attitude and proactive ownership of projects and process, upholding the highest quality standards, both in service and deliverables
  • Actively identifying, creating, and pursuing new opportunities across your clients
  • Developing client budgets and SOWs, ensuring they are well handled, tracked, reconciled and invoiced on time
  • Identifying and handling any budget or client challenges swiftly and responsibly with senior support as required

What you need for the role:
  • Demonstrable relevant experience within a creative agency environment, developing and delivering integrated campaigns
  • Ability to cultivate strong, professional and effective relationships with agency teams and partners at all levels
  • Exemplary verbal communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and offer a strong, collaborative and constructive presence and personality in client and internal meetings
  • Ability to communicate with conviction, enthusiasm and confidence
  • Capability and comfort in managing large budgets, showing excellence of financial management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, alongside organisational, time and project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • To be a strategic and curious thinker with a passion for creative marketing and a knowledge of the entertainment and culture landscape
  • Comfortable working in and across different cultures, with the ability to deal with people at all levels and across multiple industries
