Research AnalystLocation: Remote
Length: 5 months
Rate: £35-38 p/h
Hours: 9am-6pm
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and management of our research partners and vendors to design and launch research across the full research project life cycle to prioritize and solve the most pertinent business questions.
- Apply your expertise in research design, analysis, and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights on people’s behaviour and purchasing across industries and regions.
- Define insightful hypotheses and lead research with quick turnaround times focused on global ecommerce and sales trends around the world using a wide variety of methods including surveys and other data mining tools.
- Collaborate with internal analytics functions within our team to integrate our clients' large platform and market research data sets to validate research hypotheses.
- Build meaningful cross-functional relationships with our partners (marketing, sales and product marketing) to help activate our research to internal and external audiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in applied marketing research and some research vendor management experience.
- Command of a broad set of market research methods and track record of using data to make arguments.
- Track record of translating research into actionable insights for the marketing and advertising industry.
- Strong process and project management skills with successful experience partnering with cross-functional team to drive business value
- Experience in hands-on data analysis in industry data tools, cross tabbing and data visualization solutions, SPSS, R or other similar statistical packages.
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of the global retail and ecommerce industry and emerging trends/tactics in particular the emerging commerce ecosystem are highly desired .
- BA in human behaviour related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.) with emphasis on analyzing, displaying, or reporting data (e.g. economics, statistics, psychology), or equivalent work experience.
