Project Manager/Programme Manager

Location: London

Length: 9 months

Rate: £37.13 - £42.02 per hour (40 hours p/w)

Hours: 9am-6pm

The company’s Client Council & Industry Trades team are known for building strong and trusted relationships with some of the company’s most senior clients and agency partners. The Client Council was set up to seek the voice of the Industry on the work that company does and provide product teams with essential feedback.

The Council creates an opportunity to debate and address the marketing industry’s biggest issues with some of its most influential leaders.

The Trade Associations play a critical role in leading change and driving progress in the industry and are an important stakeholder for our team. Our role is to understand the Trade associations ambitions for the year, and service the priority needs that align to our clients and our goals.

We are looking for a programme manager to support the Client Council and Industry Trades team in EMEA with a particular focus on a programme called BRiM. After the murder of George Floyd, the UK & EMEA Councils decided they wanted to do something to drive change in our industry.

They created a programme called BRiM - led by the company’s Client Councils in EMEA, supported by an advisory group made up of Black leaders, DE&I experts and supported by the Advertising Association in the UK.

This project aims to improve the representation of Black people in marketing. Phase 1 of this project launches in May in the UK and we aim to roll it out to other markets after that. Phase 2 will kick off in March and we will start this phase by conducting research amongst the Black community as well as leaders in marketing in order to shape the direction for this phase.

Responsibilities
  • Support the long tail of the marketing campaign for BRiM with the Advertising Association in the UK and work with the council manager to track the process end to end.
  •  Alongside the AA, help manage the social media presence of BRiM and support requests that come in from the BRiM community.
  • Work closely with the comms teams across the company, Client Council members and the AA to ensure BRiM continues to be supported post launch.
  • Manage external launch events for BRIM with our Steering and Advisory groups.
  • Support the ongoing promotion of BRiM internally.  
  • Support the team as we plan and execute the global roll out strategy.
  • Manage timelines and work with an external agency as we kick off Phase 2 of BRiM.
  • Ensure excellent communication of BRIM across multiple stakeholders internally and externally, through regular calls / emails and a bi-weekly status report.
  • Manage the BRiM project timeline.
  • Prepare for Steering and Advisory group meetings including meeting briefs, presentations, agendas, pre-reads and writing meeting minutes for meetings.
  • Manage POs and payment to external suppliers.
  • Build strong networks both internally and externally.
Client Councils:
  • Ensure council meetings are flawlessly executed from pre to post meeting including attendance (internal/external), client briefs, internal prep meetings, presentations and meeting notes.
  • Support additional marketing activations that come out of the Client Council (yet to be determined).
     
Industry Trade bodies:
  • Support and manage Industry Trade events where the company is taking a lead role including speaker management.
  • Support our quarterly Industry Trade Round table series, ensuring meetings are flawlessly executed from pre to post meeting including attendance (internal/external), client briefs, internal prep meetings, presentations and meeting notes
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in marketing or communications working on integrated marketing launches and campaigns.
  • Ability to manage social channels and social media campaigns.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Self-starter and fast learner requiring minimal directions who can hit the ground running but willing to ask for support where needed.
  • Skilled when it comes to working cross-functionally and building relationships with key stakeholders.
