Project Communications Associate – Media/Comms

Are you a Communication Associate looking for a new challenge, if so this could be the role for you.
Our media client is rolling out a huge internal programme and is looking for a creative Communication Associate with solid comms experience, to join their Project Communications and Engagement team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in writing, designing, creating, delivering, and measuring employee communications campaigns. Executing from an existing communications strategy, you will use your expertise to produce a comprehensive suite of innovative communications that tell our client’s story, create engagement and inspire action. You will collaborate extensively with colleagues in the Communications and Engagement team and actively engage with the wider project team to build highly productive, trusted working relationships.
What the role involves:
- Design, development, and delivery of comprehensive communications for the project – collaborating with the Communications Lead and Change Managers in your area to ensure the correct tailoring of messages
- Work in a structured, methodical way aligned to the communication strategy and communication plan
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate risks to delivery
- Bring innovative, exciting new ideas to our Communications and Engagement team
- Provide advice to change team members on communication messaging and best tactics to achieve outcomes
- Own the deployment of communications through an employee engagement communications platform
- Continuously measure and improve the effectiveness of our communications
What you need for the role:
- A combination of education, training, and/or experience in internal or employee communications
- Experience with transformation comms is highly desirable
- The talent and skills to deliver high quality written content
- An eye for creative design aesthetic
- Experience in creating short videos using iMovie or similar
- Experience in using content platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, Populo, or similar
- The resilience to work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team in complex environments that can be uncertain and ambiguous
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Astute and perceptive, able to spot and escalate risks
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about change programme communications methodologies and good practices
