Role Description (and additional job description)
As a Product Marketing Manager for Android in the UK, you will be helping build strategic relationships and lead co-marketing campaigns with OEMs, carriers and retailers in the UK. In this role, you will own the marketing strategy and execution with your partners. You are in the driver’s seat and responsible for partner growth and marketing performance. You will focus on developing and executing insights-based, integrated co-marketing campaigns, ranging from ATL to BTL to establish the Android ecosystem narrative across our partners, ultimately helping users choose amongst a great portfolio of mobile products and services. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business including: Marketing, GTM, BD, Legal, Finance, and Strategy & Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build joint marketing plans with OEM, carrier and retail partners to grow the Android ecosystem.
- Establish research roadmap and generate insights for tailor-made campaign planning.
- Create campaign briefs and lead partners/agencies through creative strategy and production processes.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, shape creative and generate learnings for future campaigns.
- Represent our client, alongside the Android Business Development team, in conversations with Channel Partners regarding Android.
- Oversee in-store fixture and retail training to drive comprehension of Android in retail
- Evaluate new business/marketing opportunities with Channel Partners.
Minimum Qualifications (MQs)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in product marketing or a related field.
- Experience in managing partnerships at a senior level and in leading cross-functional projects
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and coordinate projects that span multiple locations
- Experience in leading external agencies and campaign management in a fast paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and negotiation, with a high degree of analytical rigour.
- Passionate leader and communicator, with a demonstrated talent for building strong collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and with Channel partners
