Our media clients are looking for a Manager, Strategy & Planning to assist with the development of market leading strategic plans & recommendations. This role sits within the Strategy & Planning team.
What the role involves:
- Support the Associate Director with the delivery of strategic, market-leading, and data-driven recommendations and proposals
- Contribute to the continuous evolution and development of our market-leading planning frameworks that align with our client's frameworks
- Gain an understanding of how to put data and AI at the heart of our proposals and strategic recommendations to ensure a strong data story is embedded into our client proposals
- Develop expert knowledge of DMPs and other audience led planning and marketing platforms and deliver audience analysis to support planning recommendations.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of brief responses (inc. audience build, liaising with key partners) that meet client objectives and align with activation best practices for your accounts and campaigns
- Provide consistent storytelling in proposals sent, that align closely to the requirements of clients
- Partners with Client Leadership on proposals to advance client activation.
- Partner with Client Leadership to build a deep understanding of our client knowledge/context, matching that with Activation expertise to deliver responses to clients that are innovative and market-leading
- Collaborate with Product and Activation to gain a deep understanding of our client's product set, and what can / can’t be delivered across each product.
- Work closely with Product and Services and Data Teams to deliver effective data stories to support idea iteration and planning direction.
What you need for the role:
- Passion for building strategic programmatic proposals for clients.
- Passion to tell a compelling story whilst maintaining a client-centric outlook.
- A good understanding of programmatic and the use of data and AI to drive campaign performance, in order to bring together the best solutions and proposals that take onboard activation best practices.
- Planning tools and data platforms expert.
- An eagerness to develop their strategic thinking and understand how to translate the story into a clear solution for clients.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and bringing teams together to solve client needs.
- A problem solver that can resolve conflict and client pain points through diplomacy and tact.
- Strong and effective communicator across all levels; can translate technical and complex points to nontechnical audiences and coach others to do the same.
- Passion in building strategic programmatic proposals to clients.
