MAC Support Desktop Engineer

Rate: £322 per day (PAYE) or £442 per day (Umbrella)
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for MAC and Windows desktop environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on MAC and Windows devices
- Administer and manage JAMF for MAC device management
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of software and updates
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions
- Provide training and support to end-users on MAC and Windows systems
- Act as the third line of support for escalated technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MAC Support Desktop Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of MAC OS and Windows operating systems
- Experience with JAMF administration and management
- JAMF 300 certification preferred. Certification will need to be obtained within the first 3 months
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Certified)
