Length: 12 month
Rate: £14-17 p/h
Hours: 9am – 6pm
The Hardware Logistics and Fulfillment team is looking for a Logistics and Fulfillment Specialist to help drive the hardware business forward. As a part of this team, you will apply your knowledge of supply chain principles and your problem-solving process to support reporting, fulfilment and transportation. You will assist in managing all operational aspects for two fulfilment centres and ensure all customer issues are addressed quickly and completely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily inbound and outbounds operations and escalations
- Support execution of value added services projects
- Work with internal/external partners to support resolution of backlog and exceptions (EDI errors, transportation delays, short-shipments, damages, returns, warehouse performance, quality alerts and other non-conforming issues)
- Build metrics reporting and validation not limited to clean ship, order backlog, on time shipment and delivery
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to anticipate supply and demand issues
- Develop deep understanding of order management system, inventory management system, and data analysis and reporting tools
- Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline operations and mitigate common issues
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years’ experience in order management, logistics or hardware operations
- Experience working with order and inventory management systems
- Experience with spreadsheets and SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating and working cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, planning and engineering teams
- Experience in developing stakeholder relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
