Learning and Development Manager
(Commercial experience required!)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling SME business within an ambitious and innovative group! If you are an ambitious and driven Learning and Development Enthusiast, this might be the right role for you!

Job Mission:
Responsible for delivering a world class learning programme to our extraordinary people across the Group.
Having started designing and pulling together our development programme, we now need a L&D Enthusiast to help in delivering, managing and keeping score
You should be a devoted developer of people that isn’t happy unless they are learning too!

Key Areas of Responsibility:
You’ll own our Learning Hub curriculum, creating learning strategies, initiatives and materials to deliver on our promise to grow our people: including documentation, videos and presentations, as well as testing and reviewing created materials.
Be Responsible for the continuous upkeep of knowledgebase
Actively promote employee engagement through the Learning Hub platform
Schedule induction sessions, oversee and direct learning workshops and sessions and continually update learning programs to keep our people engaged, happy and motivated!
Ensure all compliant training is legally compliant
Promote and manage process of continuous improvement
Create and maintain a positive team environment that displays high levels of team spirit , motivation and strong work ethics
Help manage the deployment of the Employee fund to actively promote Team unity and our ‘One Team’ message

You will be perfect for this role if;
You know how to best engage our people and can work with our teams across the Group, to deliver top-notch learning and engaging content, which you’ll help to create and strong programme admin.
You are professional, with a positive “get stuff done” attitude and a strong work ethic
You are a strong programme administrator
You’ve gained 4+ years within learning and development
Training certification would be a plus
You have top communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
You have a solid knowledge of latest development thinking
You are proficient in MS Office (especially Powerpoint);

KEY: You are a drivable distance from Oxford to attend the sites on an ad hoc basis!

It would be a great asset if you have experience with:
E-learning software
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, FMCG or similar industry
Have built things from scratch, within a fast paced, growth environment
