L&D Development Specialist IV

Location: London

Length: 12 Months

Rate: £38.60 - £43.68 per hour (40 hours p/w)

Hours: 9am-6pm

This individual will oversee full program oversight for Analytics Management training. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders across our Analytics teams and key business partners to identify knowledge and skill gaps and deliver on the right needs for specific training and development opportunities.

This role will use their knowledge of innovative learning design and technologies to maximize learning potential by embracing adult learning theory and ADDIE delivery methodologies. This will include the development and delivery of training curriculum (ILT/ViLTs, eLearnings, Blended, job aids) and facilitation (where applicable) of training courses for our managers.

The candidate will also be responsible for driving awareness and communication of the individual training programs to maximize attendance across multiple locations. Development of class surveys to manage measurement related to effectiveness of training sessions and development of readout materials related to the training survey results. Act as a point of intake for learning requests from our Analytics teams. Vendor management when needed for content development and training facilitators.

  • Create training content that takes complex topics and turn them into engaging, digestible course materials that support a variety of modalities (eLearning, virtual classroom training, in-person classroom training, job aids, blended, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and Subject Matter Experts to develop and constantly improve learning experiences.
  • Identifies skills and abilities needed amongst our managers and develops dynamic training solutions to address these needs that are engaging and motivating to incorporate content into the day-to-day management of their teams.
  • Driving awareness and communication of training program to maximize adoption.
  • Continually work to ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date with the process, technology, and course feedback and aligned with products and larger training goals and initiatives.
  • Works with the learning team to develop assessments and evaluations to determine the effectiveness of each course.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Follow instructional designer best practices and standards in every project.
  • Recognize how to build training content that is inclusive of design and accessibility.
  • Build relationships with key cross-functional partners to understand how your content is being received and engaged with the audience and take action based on feedback.
Looking For:
  • Minimum 5 years experience with training, facilitating, learning & development, or related field.
  • Experience in developing and delivering learning content in a virtual format Advanced knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Experience implementing adult learning best practices, accessible design, and inclusive design.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, set appropriate timelines, clarify expectations and utilize effective processes/approaches to ensure work is delivered with excellence in a timely manner.
  • Ability to problem-solve complex content in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discover, understand and translate business requirements into actionable items.
  •  Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with employees and leaders across all levels with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational, graphic design, or related field.
  • Familiarity with the front and back-end of learning management system (ex. Cornerstone) is a plus.
