Internal Communications Manager - Media

My client a global brand in the media
space  are seeking a person to oversee and manage all their Internal Comms
activity and drive further improvements in this area. There will also be the
opportunity for the right person to expand their remit to external comms
working closely with the Director of Marketing and Comms.

Role requirements

Build the brands internal communications programme to be the best in the

Manage the UK staff intranet ensuring the timely publishing of relevant and
engaging material that is updated regularly, covers all of our constituent
parts and also better covers the brands wider  community.

Oversee the production of the monthly all-staff Town Halls working with the
rotating teams responsible for delivering the meetings. Ensure that these teams
are given all the support necessary in terms of design, production and the
contribution of ideas to make these meetings as engaging and informative as

Take responsibility to oversee and manage (both from a production and
logistics perspective)  important offsite meetings making them the most
engaging, informative and enjoyable communications meetings that they have.

Build close relationships with internal marketing teams across the brands

Build close relationships with the marketing teams at the sister brands to
ensure that all are up to date with all developments particularly from a
client, people and new business perspective.

Improve the design and look and feel of all internal communications content.


To be considered:


The ideal candidate will have experience in a communications role, including
internal communications and ideally you will have gained this experience in a
media brand. 

You will enjoy engaging with a large number of people and be skilled in
influecing and persuading people to make contributions outside their day-to-day

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their comms and
marketing credentials and experience to embrace external comms and marketing as
