Intelligence Analyst

Location: London

Length: 9 Months

Rate: £13.00  -£17.00 per hour

Hours: 9am – 6pm

As the team continues to grow, our client is now seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support our Global Security team.

Overall Responsibilities:

The Intelligence Analyst will support Global Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and assessing threats and producing regular intelligence reports. They will have experience in security or risk analysis and an interest in artificial intelligence.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyse open source data and provide timely reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly assessments on the threat landscape to help inform operations.
  • Support the Security team in responding to and escalating major security incidents as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in a related subject.
  • 2+ years experience in an intelligence, research, consulting, risk or business continuity environment.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Broad knowledge of global geopolitical affairs and security issues.
  • Must thrive in fluid and dynamic environments.
  • Must act with transparency and integrity, instilling trust in everyone you interact with.
  • Must be innovative and resourceful, and are motivated by a desire to take initiative and find solutions to complex problems.
Nice to Have Skills/Qualifications or Not Required:
  • A postgraduate degree is an advantage, preferably in international politics or security and intelligence.
  • Second (relevant) language.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or interest in cyber security.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and open source intelligence tools and techniques.
