Rate: €150.00 – €190.00 per day
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
This position requires a broad HR generalist skill set and experience in effectively and efficiently resolving employee relations issues while partnering with HR COE’s, legal , the business groups and at times HR Business Partners. Your ability to communicate, work collaboratively and build relationships with all levels – including executives – will be important to deliver core results.
The HR Specialist will act as a key advisor and subject matter expert on HR policies, programs, practices, employment law principles (with consultation from employment counsel), relationship management and proactive interventions and serve as a resource/consultant in tactical and strategic approaches across all HR areas. You will be masterful at advising employees and management on highly complex and critical ER/HR issues, policies, practices and programs. You will provide counselling and support managers and employees in dealing with the day-to-day issues in the work environment related to employee relations and legal compliance.

- Responsible for ensuring timely resolution of complex employee and manager inquiries, complaints, issues and questions.
- Tracks the status and progress of employee and manager inquiries, communicating effectively with all key stakeholders involved.
- Conducts or assists with investigations to resolve employment issues, recommends solutions and assists with facilitation of resolution. Documents investigation findings and final status.
- Provide regular status updates to customer, maintains customer contact until request is resolved and case has been closed.
- Uses professional and customer-focused approach, with excellent verbal and written communication to handle customer inquiries. Ensures client privacy where appropriate, including confidentiality and protection of sensitive client reports or information. Ensures quality customer experience by communicating empathy to de-escalate difficult situations.
- Reviews and monitors cases to identify trends, potential risk areas and development opportunities. Using this information, work collaboratively with HRBP's and client group managers to bring cases to resolution and implement training and coaching to improve manager and employee performance and engagement.
- Update the Company's ER Policies and Procedures to ensure these are kept up to date with legislative changes and that they meet the needs of the business and its employees.
- Coordinate with and obtain approvals in line with agreed protocols, escalating requests that are out of process and or require special handling and recommend appropriate resolutions, including policy exceptions.
- Identify, classify, maintain and protect files, documentation and sensitive information consistent with data protection, data handling and retention requirements.
- Qualification to minimum degree level.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in employee relations or HR generalist.
- Excellent communicator – written and verbal.
- Broad knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures in EMEA
- Ability to exercise good judgment and provide strategic advice
- Being a change agent – ability to live with and manage ambiguity.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills are required.
- Ability to bring insight into the team/business in a multi-cultural and multi-location environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work.
- Effective contracting and consulting with clients and HR colleagues.
- Project management capability.
- Additional European Language or Hebrew is an advantage
