Head of People (Maternity Leave)

Job description

We have a very exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our client in this Head of People role! 

You'll sit on the People Leadership Team with a line management of 1 mid-level role. You'll also work closely with the HR lead for their Future of Work project. This is a challenging role spilt across two divisions within the company. As the Head of People you'll be working closely with stakeholders from both Editorial, Product & Engineering, and Data & Insight.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in strategic projects during this contract including but not limited to - pay projects, cultural change, and talent transformation. You can also get involved with the updating and introduction of forward thinking policies. 

To excel as the Head of People you'll need strong employment law knowledge and experience with complex disciplinaries. You'll also need to be familiar with unionised work forces. If you have a passion for media or come from a related industry you'll be able to manage the agile work flow with ease. 

This is a mat leave cover contract due to start in August and will be perfect if you are looking to start a new role at the same time.
