Based in the heart of London they are on the look out for a Group Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the ongoing improvement of financial systems, risk management, and financial reporting, ensuring the International Leadership Team receives timely, accurate, and relevant information. Additionally, the role offers ad hoc technical accounting guidance and support to international entities and assists in-country finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts for multiple international entities.
- Oversee the international P&L, balance sheet, working capital, and cash flow reporting.
- Lead the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Deliver monthly financial reports to key stakeholders, including Managing Directors and budget holders.
- Provide oversight and guidance to local management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting processes.
- Handle international recharges and intercompany accounts
- Conduct periodic reviews of tax compliance and deferred tax positions
- Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects as directed by the CFO of the International Division and VP of Finance.
- Develop and maintain monthly reporting templates for international operations within the company’s financial systems.
- Create commercially focused reports, KPI dashboards, and performance packs for international teams using Power BI.
- Project manage interactions with IT teams to ensure seamless data flow, enabling insightful commercial reporting across platforms.
- Act as the business lead for transforming the contract management system (CMS), ensuring its robustness and future-readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Essential experience in auditing.
- Strong technical accounting expertise.
- Familiarity with statutory accounts, corporation tax, and VAT in international contexts.
- Proven ability to support management in strategic planning initiatives.
