Global Marking Procurement Analyst

Location: London

Length: 5 Months

Rate: £241 - £273 per day

Hours: 9am – 6pm

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and driving our client’s marketing transformation, by unlocking value and improved business performance through data and insights. The scope of the role is global, and there is a requirement to work across multiple marketing categories, stakeholders, and markets. The key deliverables of this role include the following:

  • Key purpose of role is to support relevant activity through accurate creation, development and maintenance of all data.
  • The Data Analyst interprets data and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve the business, thus affecting business decisions.
  • The Data Analysts gathers information from various sources and interprets patterns and trends.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.  
  • Proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills & strong organisational skills.
  • Experienced in full Microsoft Office package, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP PLM
  • Knowledge of SAP DEP
  • Graduate or equivalent qualification and member of professional body.
  • Experience in data, insights across FMCG Commercial or another relevant role.
  • SME in core Procurement systems, metrics and data structures and spend categories.
  • Demonstrated performance in problem solving.
  • Strong analytical/ financial / business acumen, including an understanding of organisational financial goals and value drivers relevant to Procurement, brands and markets.
  • Track record of influencing stakeholders and driving cross-border teams.
  • Strong communication skills:  verbal, written and presentation; strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of experienced in data mining and analysis – turning complex data into strategic insights; experience with dashboard technology design and deployment (e.g. powerbi, Qlik).
