Enterprise Learning Data Analyst
Rate: £36.54 - £40.38
Location: London (wfh until further notice)
Duration: 11 months

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for understanding business learning
data needs, responding to user data requests and ultimately planning, creating and
continually improving a self-service solution that can replace the manual reporting state that
serves the current needs. You will be a proactive self-starter who is able to hit the ground
running and provide immediate impact in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities
Phase 1 - Ramp up
This role will evolve in line with the current state and as part of the ramp up, you will:
- Receive data/analysis requests from across the business and service the needs
accurately in a timely manner
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
- Identify business data needs and recurring requests per audience type
- Develop the existing reporting solution (dashboard) to service all data user requests
by analyzing gaps and incorporating new functionality
- Liaise with the existing technical data teams to understand logic that is incorporated
into dashboards, and the upstream factors/dependencies that feed the dashboard

Phase 2 - Technical build
- After the ramp up, the Data Analyst will build a new self-service dashboard to service
business requirements:
- Receive and understand complex business requirements, and build them into a new,
advanced reporting solution/dashboard
- Query the HIVE database to incorporate the appropriate data fields
- Work with the design team to identify optimisations and improvements to the UX/UI
- Assist with UX testing and incorporate user feedback into a v2 iteration and respond
quickly to evolving user needs in the development phase
- Stack rank future requirements into a digestible roadmap and communicate this to

Minimum Experience

- Advanced Excel, and technical expertise regarding data models, database design
development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and logic to extract data for analysis
- Tableau (or similar) reporting and dashboard creation
- Strong with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant
amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong systems and problem-solving mindset, including an ability to think through
workflows end-to-end to develop improved solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy
Preferred Experience
- Able to communicate complex analytical approaches to a non-technical audience
- 3+ years experience working in HR or a learning function
