EMEA Consumer Marketing Lead

Location: Onsite – UK
Length: 12 Months
Rate: From £54.81 p/h + PAYE (Approx. £114K per annum)
Hours: 9am-6pm

This client is a top 5 tech giant and owner of some of the world’s most popular social media platforms and instant messaging apps, connecting billions of people across the globe.

Job description:
 
The newly formed EMEA Consumer & Creator team is looking for a Consumer Marketing Lead who is passionate about building brands and connecting with our audiences in meaningful ways. We are looking for a marketer with equally a strong strategic/analytical and creative mindset, capable of proactively identifying important problems and solutions with impact on longer term strategies, skilled at driving and managing complex business initiatives and campaigns, developing unique testing opportunities that drive measurable outcomes and has a passion for building inclusion amongst a diverse set of people and teams.
 
This role requires building networks and working closely with global and regional cross-functional teams to identify and execute marketing strategies that deliver against our business goals. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, embrace flex between strategic thinking and detail-oriented execution and have a proven track record of delivering business impact through innovative campaigns with measurable outcomes.
 
To be successful, you must be able to connect the dots between global strategies and regional/ local resonance, synthesize a complex set of data and insights into actionable strategies, identify opportunities for innovation internally and externally and drive and align teams to work streams and processes that are most accretive to business goals.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Proactively identifies problem spaces that marketing can solve and demonstrate outsized impact
  • Develop effective marketing strategies and executional plans in collaboration with cross-regional partners that help leaders prioritize on the most accretive investments for business growth
  • Drive and manage integrated marketing campaigns end to end in partnership with a cross-functional team
  • Able to synthesize a complex set of data and insights into clear and actionable marketing strategies supported by robust measurement plans and clear KPIs
  • Collaborate with our internal insights team and external partners to deepen our knowledge of EMEA consumers, while bringing to life core human insights in inspiring creative briefs
  • Partner with global teams (Brand, Product, Creative) to ensure regional strategies and local-market briefs ladder up to globally-aligned strategy while flexing appropriately for social, cultural, and product nuances locally.
  • Identify and execute marketing opportunities that can drive impact across audiences (Business, Creator, Consumer)
  • Identify and execute opportunities for testing and experimentation, driving the spirit of innovation across the EMEA and wider International Marketing team
  • Effectively communicate up/down/across the organization to foster partnerships and advocacy of marketing strategies and plan

 
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:

  • (IC7) 15+ years of brand marketing experience with a proven track record of driving impact.

EMEA / International experience working on global brands with diverse cultural, social and business landscapes

  • Experience delivering large scale marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Experience translating insights, data and ideas into customer value
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization and build influential and collaborative relationships
  • Experience working in a highly data-driven, measurement focused environment and able to identify KPIs and develop robust measurement plans to prove outcomes
  • Proven experience developing, and establishing executive alignment on, short and long-term strategies

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA/Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English is required – additional languages (EMEA) are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in product marketing, growth marketing, and/or innovation
