Executive Editor 
Central London

We have an exciting role to join one of the worlds biggest tech companies as an Executive Editor. You will be working with a group of data analysts, designers, writers, digital marketers, and strategists working within Marketing tasked with shaping and delivering—seamlessly and in real-time—the consumer, industry, and marketing insights that their customers need to win on the web. 

The Role

At the heart of the value proposition to large advertisers and agencies is industry-leading content and insights from the companies unique point of view.  Whether it’s research and data on consumer behavior, seasonal consumer trends, or perspectives on major shifts happening on digital marketing platforms today. You’ll be leading and managing an editorial team that surfaces these insights and transforms them into business intelligence for our audience. Through both an entrepreneurial drive and a data-driven mindset, you will lead a content strategy that can measurably improve our customers’ businesses. 

  • Oversee content strategy and editorial operations for all hannels (site, social, newsletters), working with stakeholders across Ads Marketing and Sales to develop and drive content marketing strategy, calendar, and operations.  Drive audience research and data analysis to inform and refine strategy
  • Ensure core messaging strategy is reflected in content with clear customer content journeys mapped for each message
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously optimize the style and tone guidelines of the site and manage editors who are directly shaping all content on site
  • Establish new formats and channels to extend our insights further, such as developing podcasts, video series, etc. Ensure platform features and UX support our content strategy, serving as driver of new functionality/features related to content consumption and messaging, and recommending testing programs to optimize content UX on site
  • Build editorial partnerships with external industry groups, industry publications, and customers


Bachelors or Masters degree
Extensive experience working in publishing, thought leadership, or content marketing programs
Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing.

Deep experience and demonstrated leadership in publishing, thought leadership, or content marketing programs with track record of measurable ROI and industry adoption
Industry-leading editing and writing skills
Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigor, strategic mindset, and business acumen
Curiosity, creativity, and passion for surfacing and writing about real-world trends in media, marketing, technology, and consumer behavior
Experience working in a cross-functional team, including social media, email marketing, paid media, data analysis, and production
