eCommerce Manager – Music (eCommerce)Permanent/London

Our music client is looking for an eCommerce Manager to join their team. To deliver, project manage and oversee store builds and launches and above all deliver a focused, profitable, and innovative eCommerce strategy for their artist and label store brands that delivers to both top line and bottom-line all-in line with eCommerce best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage eCommerce store builds on the e-Comm platform
- Use your eCommerce commercial, store management and merchandising experience to formulate & execute D2C strategies to drive store awareness and conversions whilst also enhancing the customer experience at all times
- Daily store management of the artists stores
- Day to day operations management of the web store (s), ensuring products are set up, listed, images sourced, prices correct, and products are kept in stock to maximise sales potential
- Merchandising of store pages and departments in line with analytics and data to optimise conversion
- Day to day management of the store interface, ensuring banners, offers and buy buttons are appropriate and effective
- Work with Logistics Manager to Operations team to ensure products are kept in stock to maximise sales potential throughout product life
- Work closely with label commercial teams to identify new product ranges to monetise the assets of artist/Label/RO across all labels for new retail brand
- Manage the web store release schedule with the Label/RO contact
- Manage the product and launch schedule for the retail brand
- Work with the Label/RO in delivering sales, stock, and profitability reporting
- Explore new methods for generating revenue via the artist website/web store with 3rd party distributors
- Manage ticketing offers alongside the RO/Label contact, fully integrating ticketing offers with the product release schedule
- Work with the central e-CRM team and Label/RO Commercial and Marketing departments/contacts to ensure that eCommerce initiatives are integrated into all marketing/CRM activities
- Work with the Label/RO Digital and Marketing departments/contacts to ensure marketing and digital strategies adequately drive traffic and awareness of the eCommerce solution/web store
- Manage relationships with our key partners in the eCommerce space, notably the Labels, brand owners, tech team and finance teams, warehouse team, procurement and merchandise companies, artist managers and ticket agencies
- Reporting of sales trends and store activity to Label/RO contacts and Director of eCommerce
- Develop always on merchandise strategies for artists where required
- Be abreast of developments in the eCommerce area, particularly with regard to other artist store offerings, but in addition, good retailing practice outside of the music industry
- Work with US store management teams to manage and execute global eCommerce stores for clients artists
- Analyse store conversion date and analytics to drive better data led decisions in the d2c & eCommerce space
What you need for the role:
- Commercial & analytical approach to business, adept at working and achieving store revenue targets
- Strong eComm retail background, adept at music new release product campaigns and evergreen merchandising of artist webstores
- Comprehensive understanding of digital and commercial opportunities
- Demonstrable eComm management experience, including eComm CMS / admin area to run eComm store fronts
- Strong track history of using CRM activity to drive eCommerce
- Basic HTML skills to set up store front end experiences
- Excellent understanding of consumer online experience on various eCommerce
- Shopify experience
- Strong track history of using data and analytics to make informed commercial decisions
- An interest in consumer insight and the impact on product offerings
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and or other major analytics platforms
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask & prioritise and project manage multiple stores and campaigns
- Good presentation skills.
- Flexibility to work hours above the normal working hours if needed
- Microsoft Excel, powerpoint & Photoshop skills
- Strong communication co-ordination skills, with the ability to management multiple workstreams, often across multiple timezones
- Passion for music
- Ability to work with HTML5 & CSS (desirable)
- Working knowledge of SEO and eComm pricing strategies to drive conversion (desirable)
- Experience of ticketing and live music structure(desirable)
- Experience/knowledge of record label process (desirable)
- E-commerce/Retail experience including fulfilment operations(desirable)
- Project management tool experience (desirable)
