Partnerships Development Manager (Sub-Saharan Africa)

Duration: 11 months

Location: London

Pay: £36-40ph, based on a 40hr week


Global technology company is seeking a Community Manager to grow its Community Partnerships team, with an experienced Partner Development Manager to support a group of successful community leaders, who have built and grown relevant and impactful communities on our platforms specifically within the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

The Community Partnerships team's mission is to empower community leaders to start, grow and sustain meaningful communities around the world. The team serves community leaders to understand and address their needs in sustaining and strengthening their communities.


  • Manage community leaders through scaled channels to
    support them to grow, engage and sustain their communities and achieve their
    potential in terms of impact on- and offline

  • Facilitate development of peer-to-peer relationships
    among managed community leaders

  • Manage relationships at scale, including establishing an ongoing cadence of partner communication and outreach, and addressing business and operational issues through online community

  • Work cross functionally with a variety of teams, including Policy, Communications, Product, Marketing and Operations teams to advocate for partner needs

  • Present key concepts and curriculum during webinars, workshops, and trainings to community leaders to help them succeed

  • Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics to develop and execute against partnership goals



  • Fluency in English and French

  • Proven track record of developing relationships and supporting stakeholders online in the Sub- Saharan Africa region via scaled channels

  • 7+ years of experience, including community management experience

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with different levels of management, both internally and externally
