Design Operations Manager
Location: London (Remote currently)
Length: 9 months
Rate: £33-38p/h (40 hours p/w)

Fantastic opportunity for an experience Design Operations Manager to work with one of the Big 5 Tech companies on a contract basis for 9 months. The salary equivalent for this role is £72,000

About the role…

Our client is looking for acollaborator and problem solver to work directly with the Design Specialist team, ensuring operational excellence in creative output. The right candidate will be able to orchestrate and liaise with our internal and external designers to coordinate the design, build and execution of sales collateral. They will effectively produce schedules, manage budgets and lead status meetings to keep production on track. Supporting the various aspects of the design team, you will help teams to focus their time on designing, building and growing sales resources. You will improve team communication, collaboration, and remove roadblocks. Finally, you'll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives and you'll have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams as you establish great ways of working together.

Responsibilities…

• Develops a deep level of understanding of the visual identity and style
• Deliver highest-quality assets. Maintain a large body of work in a fast-paced environment
• Oversee internal & external design team, budget allocations, licensing and resource allocation
• Ability to plan, organise and take on the right priority projects, internally and externally
• Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve product team efficiency and impact
• Facilitate meetings and establishing clear next steps resolving blocks that impede progress
• Measure impact of priority design programs 
• Manage resource library and implement working processes for asset production, licensing as needed 

Required Skills…

*BA/BS degree and 6 years minimum practical experience in Design Marketing/Communications
*Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Powerpoint
*Strong organizational and project management skills
*Experience working to brand guidelines. Strong attention to detail, zero tolerance for inconsistency
*Experience in video production/storyboarding
*Proven ability to design and build professional and beautiful client ready sales collateral
*Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills. 
*Confidence in technical knowledge to be able to communicate expectations accurately with designers. 
*Ability to lead a team - previous people management/project management experience
