Communication Associate

Location: London

Length: 12 Months

Rate: £19.03 - £23.09 per hour

Hours: 9am – 6pm

Role responsibilities will include:
  • Compiling and creating coverage reports.
  • Going through the tracker to pull out top level insights and combining them into our end of week.
  • EMEA reporting; issues tracking; insights and measurement. Responsibilities will also include team operations.
Measurement (50% time allocation)
  • Make sure coverage has been filed correctly / manually correct if needed.
  • Keep 2021 YouTube EMEA calendar up to date.
  • Figure out how to fix reactive / issues coverage tracking.
  • Pull insights / reports when appropriate (e.g.: product launches, annual or mid-term reports, monthly newsletter, etc).
  • Share insights with the team for better understanding and decision making.
  • Be in sync with the company M&I EMEA poc as well as SBO.
Editorial (temporary until it’s fully backfilled - 30% time allocation)
  • Suggest and outline entries based on the coverage tracker for the various reports (Newsflash, L-team, Comms in Review, etc).
  • Outline and design the Monthly report — from suggesting/collecting and writing entries to chasing YT EMEA PR team members to make sure reviews are done in due time.
  • Manage GAMA reporting and provide insights on overall performance (e.g: vs other regions or months).
Day to day operational (20% time)
  • Build and keep track of agendas and meeting notes for the YT Central team meeting and the YT PR EMEA call (weekly and biweekly).
  • Build a best practice repository to share across EMEA team and keep it up to date.
  • Keep track of YouTube’s global lookahead and make sure all relevant entries are in.
  • Kick of issues related comms docs. Look after structure, writing and permissions.
  • Ensure the issues are in the Calendar for tracking purposes.
