Are you an experienced Commercial Marketing Manager | Executive, who understands and has experience in live and commercial events? Your role will be to devise and implement dynamic, data-driven marketing activity to maximise ticket sales across our client’s infamous live music program and to develop a new B2B marketing strategy that will generate new business for our client’s internationally recognised space for hire and commercial events arm.
To be considered for this role, it is vital that:
- You have proven experience at manager level in commercial marketing, sales, audience development and engagement, delivering strong, multi-faceted campaigns which meet or exceed target.
- Experience of budget management and contributing to financial forecasting.
- Direct experience of the UK live music, events or entertainment industry.
- Data-driven, with the ability to gather and present information, compile reports, make recommendations and analyse data to refine marketing and sales techniques.
- An understanding of audience segmentation and use of audience analysis tools.
- Experience of digital marketing, content development, innovative use of social media channels and programmatic media planning / buying as a tool for driving sales and revenue.
Gigs:
- Manage the year-round marketing of live music at our client’s venue, holding the budget, devising and implementing innovative, effective campaigns that profiles the venue, maximizes ticket sales and meet audience targets.
- Oversee all gig announcements and on-sales inline with overall venue marketing strategy
- Full campaign management for two flagship music festivals, from planning, creative development, appointing and working closely with media and PR agencies to reporting and evaluation.
- Manage the year-round marketing of commercial hire events at our client’s venue, holding the budget, devising and implementing innovative, campaigns that profile the venue, maximizes income and meet commercial targets.
- Design and deliver effective and dynamic multichannel event marketing campaigns
- Provide leadership to, coach and support the Marketing Assistant in managing their day to day workload and priorities.
- Seek opportunities to make meaningful links with our client’s work with young people and campaign activity.
- Attend events and meetings relevant to the role, some of which may take place outside of regular office hours.
- Be committed to putting young people at the heart of everything we do.
