Associate Manager, Media Development

Location: London

Length: 12 months

Rate: £153.84 per day  

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

The Associate Manager, Media Development is responsible for:
? Driving new content and engagement partner acquisition which is critical to the Media group’s success.
? Proactively managing partnerships across international markets to ensure that they are ROI positive, and drive our key OKRs of audience acquisition and engagement.
? Supporting our editorial teams to manage freelancer and contractor expenditure and ensuring budgets are well planned and adhered to proactive administration of incoming and outgoing revenue and costs - collaborating with Finance teams to deliver timely and accurate revenue recognition and attribution from third parties.

Within the boundaries set by regional and global leadership this role will have significant autonomy to identify and negotiate content opportunities, as well as provide input into new and innovative partnership models.

? Drive the market content acquisition pipeline for international markets.
? Identify complementary content opportunities and strategic partners, drive competitive analysis.
? Negotiate and close new deals.
? Create/check/validate deal models for partnerships.
? Draft and manage contracts together with legal team.
? Manage existing content partners in reporting and payments (license fee and rev share).
? Provide insight and analysis on the effectiveness of content spend (KPI, performance analysis).
? Own budgeting and forecasting for specific expenditure areas.

? Fluent in English, another European language would be a distinct advantage.
? Extensive experience with web content licensing.
? Commercial understanding of the online and media industry, good existing contacts and network.
? Proven negotiation capabilities in content and media partnerships.
? Knowledge of market relevant deal models and KPIs.
? Strong analytical skills, comfortable with numbers.
? Excellent and proven organization skills and attention to detail.
