What the role involves:
Creativity & Visual Storytelling
- Develop original audiovisual ideas which offer audiences new avenues into an artist’s world
- Recommend editorial approaches and oversee the production of associated audiovisuals
- Generate long-term audience growth and engagement for artists and their music
- Explore opportunities for innovation and industry firsts
Specialist Planning
- Craft industry-leading YouTube & TikTok strategies
- Work with A&R to unlock value from artist audiovisual archives
- Bring cutting-edge audiovisual campaigns to marketing plans
- Educate and encourage the wider label to think more ambitiously about audiovisual
Collaborative Working
- Build relationships and generate opportunities with established partners
- Pitch ideas to artist teams and provide ongoing strategic consultancy
- Appoint and manage specialist content suppliers and agencies
- Determine how we collaborate with audiovisual creators and talent
What you need for the role:
- To be a music lover
- A devotee to creative storytelling in all visual mediums
- Proven success in establishing a new way of working
- A deep understanding of audiences, culture, technology and internet behaviour
- Ability to map out and build a strong professional network
- Fast learner who can work autonomously and solve problems
- Someone who enjoys teaching others and developing within the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels of business
- Confident meeting and presenting to artist management and external partners
