Channel Partner Story
The Channel Partner team exists to build scalable tech partnerships that bring millions of small businesses on to enabling them to thrive. We are the partnerships arm for Customer Solutions (GCS) focused on driving business growth for our customers and partners at scale, through Google’s advertising solutions. Members of this team gain broad exposure to many Google products and cross-functional teams while identifying and implementing innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of channel partners and their customers.
What makes this job unique
As an Account Manager, you will enable transformational, high growth, product-enabling partnerships for entities of all shapes and sizes, such as storebuilders, ecommerce platforms, and Ad tech and marketing technology platforms. You are a Ads product evangelist, responsible for driving and enforcing product excellence across our priority Channel Sales partners and our pipeline of the next in line partnerships. The Account Manager role will be a key player in future-proofing our partners’ solutions from a product point of view, being a trusted advisor for the key stakeholders, including technical teams of our partners, C-level executives, product and engineering managers, and developers.
You will be responsible for working with partners to support early technical conversations and advise partners as they build custom advertising solutions. You will work in a consultative capacity with our partners to identify technical challenges, provide product development guidance & solutions. You are responsible for supporting the business development and partner managers of the Channel Sales team in assessing partnership potential and technical needs as well as educating partners as they design solutions.
