Removing unconscious bias between our candidates and clients
All of us who work at Career Moves Group believe in the strength of Diversity and Inclusion in the workforce and are fully committed in educating ourselves continuously on this as a top priority. As an organisation that has always been inclusive, with nearly half of our staff being made up of BAME employees, we are advocates of reducing unconscious bias across all workforces.
In acting as the bridge between clients and top talent, we are on a mission to help facilitate the removal of unconscious bias where we can. This is why from this week onwards, we will no longer be providing clients with candidate names only a reference number. We would like the focus to be on the experience of the person rather than as ‘an assumption’ of who they are through their name or gender.
