In the heart of London’s Silicon Roundabout, we hosted one of the most recognised technology brands for an executive discussion on the people agenda and future of work.
On Wednesday 27th November, Katharine Stevens HR Director for BT Enterprise Services disclosed how the business has centred their people strategy on future thinking, agility, and service delivery for the customer.
As part of the world’s longest standing communications company, BT Enterprise’s focus is to retain the UK and Ireland’s leading position in the global digital economy. BT Enterprise serves over half of FTSE 350 with communication and IT services to build solutions that use technology in ever-smarter ways.
At the centre of BT Enterprise, Katharine leads onsite strategy for the largest unit of 7,500 employees. These employees assist in servicing 1,200,000 business and public sector organisations in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
Undeniably, expectation of quality customer service has altered the market. Customer demand has evolved over time and if businesses are to survive in this new age then their delivery teams must adapt to the changing environment.
As these customer needs change, Katharine will be disclosing their end vision for a service obsessed culture embedded into the day-to-day running of BT Enterprise. In total this will include impacts on the existing HR team, aligning business operations to strategic aspirations, and steps in their process to achieving future-proof success.
