This client is a multinational alcoholic beverages company, and one of the largest and most prominent spirits and beer producers globally. With a plethora of well-known and recognizable alcohol brands to their name, this client is a leader in the global FMCG space.
Key responsibilities
- Financial Responsibility.
- Salary offers for senior talent in Europe and Africa below senior leadership (‘SL’) level, salary ranges across Europe and Africa and non-centrally governed incentive plans.
- Budget for the Reward team.
- Market Complexity The role requires knowledge of the various markets and corporate functions as well as the shared service model with our client, and how these are organised to deliver our client’s strategy.
- Manages complex relationships between Global Performance and Reward, HR Service Delivery functions, HR business partners, people managers and employees. Manages relationships with external providers.
- Top Accountabilities o Leads on a reward strategy for Europe and Africa which is then driven down to a country level.
- Defines the end state for key countries and the plan to get there.
- Engages key stakeholders to build alignment to the plan.
- Ensures competitiveness of our reward offering in Europe and Africa.
- Works with Talent Engagement and HRBPs to ensure that salary ranges enable our client to attract and retain key talent in key functions.
- Defines the benefits offering for key countries that is fit for the diverse workforce with our client and cost competitive.
- Defines the future organisation model for Reward across Europe and Africa that delivers on cost/quality/service objectives and fully leverages shared service and automation/outsourcing opportunities.
The Role
- Aligning on global strategy for Reward, and how that will be applied locally and to be future focused so that we proactively shape the future of Reward with our client.
- Agreeing on Reward priorities and how we will collaborate to take this forward.
- Driving simplification and standardisation across Reward to reduce complexity.
- Agreeing any process changes that may be required to deliver simplification, with this forum replacing the Reward Process Board.
- Where there are operational issues that are common across geographies to agree how they will be resolved.
Skills:
- Leadership Responsibilities Leads on specific reward/ business projects and engage key stakeholders at the most senior levels throughout the business.
