We have a fantastic new role for an experienced HR Advisor, who is ready to step up into their first Business Partnering role. Our client, a global Communications Agency – is a leader in the communication arena, using data-led strategies to ensure next generation solutions for the brands and businesses that they work with. This is a period of growth for the company and an exciting time to join as you’ll be key in the next stage of organisational transformation. You will work as a Junior HRBP on all areas of HR, as well as acting as a support to the DEI Lead, to contribute to the generation of ideas for the DEI Plan and subsequent implementation and roll out of DEI strategy. You will also support on creation of a suite of DEI policies, to ensure inclusion and belonging is truly at the centre of the company’s employee experience.
The skill set for success in this role is a professional, pragmatic and customer-focused HR generalist, with a passion for DE&I.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support and advise managers on performance management issues (PIP and probation), as well as redundancy, disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings; escalating complex employee cases as required.
- Contribute to the generation of ideas and assist the wider HR team in the delivery of HR projects and initiatives across the company
- Provide general HR support across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee relations, appraisals, training, employee queries, and exit procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR function, making improvements to our processes to ensure they are efficient and ensure we are providing excellent client service.
- Create, maintain, and launch policies, processes and templates as required
- Support the DEI Lead in the creation and implementation of DEI initiatives and policies
- Support all employees and line managers by providing advice, guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with managers across the business to manage day to day people issues offering pragmatic solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Act as first line of support for dealing with and responding to queries (for example employment law, flexible working, leaves, maternity, paternity, grievances, disciplinaries and performance management).
This is a permanent position paying up to £45k depending on experience with flexible working from their London office.
